The latest BMW i3 has a 170km range on a full charge—that’s 40% farther than the first generation model, making it the electric vehicle that will change the way you think about driving. And the unprecedented use of strong yet lightweight Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) makes it one of BMW’s lightest vehicles, further enhancing both performance and efficiency.
The BMW i3 is one of the fastest BMWs off the line. Its incredibly responsive acceleration is felt immediately from a standstill with 184 lb-ft of pin you to the back of your seat torque making for an exhilarating and exceedingly fun ride.
Manufactured in BMW's most sustainable auto plant, the BMW i3 production process uses 50% less energy and 70% less water — and that's just the beginning. The interior uses cutting-edge architecture and over 25% of renewable and recycled materials. Up to four passengers can enjoy its spaciousness—equivalent to the BMW 3 Series. Plus, the LifeDrive architecture allows for the B-pillar and center console to be removed, creating even more openness.

BMW i3s
Announced in August 2017, the BMW i3s is a sportier, more powerful version of the standard i3. It features a 40mm wider wheel track, lowered suspension and wider wheel arches.
The new BMW i3s provides an even sportier interpretation of silent mobility with zero local emissions and features a high -performance 135kW/184hp electric motor that generates peak torque of 270Nm (199lb-ft).

At the limits of the motor speed range, the power and torque of the drive system represent an improvement of up to 40% on the BMWi3. What’s more, the new BMWi3s boasts sports suspension with specially developed springs, dampers and anti-roll bars.
Just 6.9seconds is enough to see the new BMWi3s burst past 100km/h on its way to a top speed of 160km/h. It has a range of up to 280 kilometres based on the NEDC cycle.
