Formula E attracts more big corporate sponsorship as interest in the series continues to grow

Formula E is starting to attract the big guns of corporate sponsorship. After the announcement of manufacturers such as Porsche and Mercedes joining the series next season interest is growing massively plus the fact that the racing is held in some amazing locations and is actually exciting to watch too.

The latest company to increase their involvement is the world’s fastest-growing airline Qatar Airways which is extending its partnership with the ABB FIA Formula E Championship by becoming the race title partner for the Qatar Airways Paris E-Prix for a second year running, as well as putting its name to the season finale event in New York against the backdrop of Lower Manhattan.

Formula E has today announced that five-star carrier and the world’s fastest-growing airline Qatar Airways is extending its partnership with the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, becoming the race title partner for the Qatar Airways Paris E-Prix for a second year running, as well as putting its name to the season finale event in New York against the backdrop of Lower Manhattan.

At a press conference in Doha, the airline confirmed it’s set to increase its ties with the electric street racing series for the third edition of the Paris E-Prix on April 28 and the New York City E-Prix double-header on July 14 & 15. Qatar Airways will also be the official airline partner for the inaugural Rome E-Prix on April 14 around the streets of the Italian capital and the Berlin E-Prix on May 19.
